The 5794 yard, parkland course, set in rolling meadowland, has well-wooded areas and is one of the most challenging and enjoyable 9-hole course in Cheshire.

The clubhouse provides attractive surroundings in which to relax after a round. The popular Spike Bar is ideal for an immediate post-golf drink. The main lounge provides views out onto the course, and the dining room overlooks the final green. An extensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments is available from the bar.

The following types of attire are prohibited on the course and Council will discipline persistent offenders. The following are not permitted on the golf course.
Smart casual dress, but members must be aware that, in the main lounge, they should not wear the same clothes after playing golf.
Smoking is allowed only outside the Clubhouse in areas designated and appropriately signed. This rule is for cigarettes and e-cigarettes.
Mobiles phones must always be switched to silent mode. Calls must not be taken or made on the course, in the Clubhouse or within earshot of players except in an extreme emergency. Mobile phones must always be switched off during Prize Presentations.
lderley Edge Golf Club ( AEGC ) is committed to ensure that the game of golf is played in a safe environment for all participants, and that children, young people and adults have an enjoyable and positive experience when playing golf.
In ensuring that AEGC is a safe environment the club has adopted both a Children’s and Young People’s Safeguarding Policy as well as an Adult’s Safeguarding Policy, which are both in line with England Golf – SafeGolf Accreditation.

The Alderley Edge Golf Club WiFi Policy
Alderley Edge Golf Club (AEGC) has internet access available for members and visitors. If you wish to use this facility, no personal data is collected or stored and password information will be provided. Users should adhere to the Clubs Acceptable Use Policy which is detailed below.
The AEGC General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) policy will come into effect on 25th May 2018.
This policy sets out the compliance and administration of the activities at AEGC around this legislation. The policy has been agreed by the AEGC Council and will be reviewed in April of each year.
