To Captain Alderley Edge Golf Club for the 2025 season is a huge honour. I aim to follow in the footsteps of some fantastic Captains, maintaining traditions with a modern twist.
I joined the Club back in 2005 and have been a member ever since.
Throughout the 2025 season, myself and Lady Captain (Wendy Harrison) will be raising money for Christies as our chosen charity. We plan to host several fund-raising events throughout the year, including a 72-hole Challenge!!

Welcome to the Junior section of Alderley Edge Golf Club. My name is Edgar Quinn, I am 14 years old and I enjoy playing Golf and Football.
I’ve been playing golf on and off for 10 years starting at Avro and then progressing as a junior member at Alderley Edge Golf club for the last 2 years. I have really enjoyed being involved in the junior section. My aim is to reduce my handicap during the year.
I’m very much looking forward to my role as Junior Captain for the 2022 season and to inspire the other junior members to enjoy playing and improving, so that they are able to obtain their handicaps and to play in the regular junior competitions.
My thanks to those involved in running the junior section and to Tom Metcalfe who coaches and gives the lessons in the junior academy.
